This site is for and about public houses in and around the Nottingham area.

Myself (Brian Ash) and long time friend and drinking partner ( Ray Edwards) have embarked on a crusade of visiting and reporting on the best (and worst) public houses within this area.

We hope to bring you the comments and first impressions of a visitor to these pubs in the form of a short review with accompanying photograph, for would be visitors we hope to bring a brief insight of what to expect.

Our findings are based on a normally quiet Monday evening visit, usually “early doors” around 7:00pm - 8:00pm).

The comments contained in this site are purely our own, all remarks on our findings are gratefully accepted.
