Our average rating reflects the fact that the bar and
lounge is in fact the same room. At the time we visited we found the music was too loud and the general atmosphere was very smokey.

A very nice pub, a welcome atmosphere, pleasant staff
and customers with the added bonus of a no smoking area. Well worth a visit !

What we thought was a very nice pub first time around
disappointed us on our return visit, nothing to do with the staff or the pub itself but the customers supercilious attitude.

Apart from this, the place is worth a visit, it brews its own ale
on the premises and the different beers are worth a try. Unless you frequent the place you wont have heard of the beers, so follow the locals lead.

Try it ! We were impressed with this place, so much so
we called again a couple of days later and had a meal here.

The whole pub caters for meals as well as drinks, it has a very
large no smoking area (at last someone realises that many people find smoking offensive when dining), with well spaced tables, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. This one is highly recommended.
