Situated on the difficult to find Plough Lane ( I’ll bet you miss the turn off), this nice country pub is a one room tavern, which is half lounge, half diner. The room is quite small
and therefore seating is at a premium. Pleasant and friendly welcome from staff and customers alike, we tried the Mansfield Cask bitter which at around £2 per pint is not the cheapest but was excellent. With it’s
typical brick and beam interior and large outdoor area for the summer nights, this is another nice place to visit.
