Although in need of a little redecoration, this is still one of the nicest country pubs in one of the quietest rural settings. Sitting outside on a hot summers evening with a cold beer overlooking the church spire and fields is a joy. (Message to the landlord: please replace the current rotten benches). The beer also is well kept and reasonably priced. Call in, you’ll be pleased you did.
