Situated on the right hand side as you enter the village from Nottingham, this pub is often passed by in favour of The Red Lion, but in our opinion, this is the better and more traditional public house. The beers are well kept and excellent, the pub is large, clean and comfortable. We really liked this pub and recommend it as one of the better ones we have visited. Next time you are heading to or from Southwell, call in and see for yourself.
