A real step back in time this place, no mod cons here, sofas and chairs nestle in between the traditional pub seating, elderly customers a plenty, a refreshing change from the “fun pub” culture of today. If like us you get into the spirit of the place and order a pint from the cask sat behind the bar rather than the pump pulled ale just beware, although a nice drop of beer, remember it’s not pulled through a cooler it’s at room temperature.
